How Speednut Works

The Speednut Pulling System (Patent Pending) is the only tool engineered to safely install bushings using hydraulic equipment. Speednut is a releasable, locking device that significantly speeds up bushing replacement in equipment. When used with a hollow hydraulic cylinder, Speednut makes bushing installation safe, fast and incredibly easy. We designed the Speednut Pulling System to eliminate the safety risks of using threaded rod to hydraulically replace bushings. It's no secret that threaded rods can stretch, crack and break unpredictably under load. Often, threaded rods are not clearly marked with their grade, making it difficult to know if the rod can safely handle the heavy forces required to replace bushings and pins. This all makes for an unsafe job.
